Roy Nelson Keeps Beard for Himself, Mullet for Wife
Roy Nelson, on “Beatdown,” discussing whether he’d still have a huge beard and a mullet if he weren’t fighting in MMA:
“The mullet? Probably, because my wife loves my hair. With the mullet, that’s more for her. That’s more personal. The beard is, I’d say, more for me. So yeah. It’s a mixture of the fans love it but at the same time my wife loves my long hair. She’s not a big fan of the beard, but I like the beard. We have to make this compromise.”
