Veteran bantamweight Joe Soto had a tough time dealing with Chris Beal’s speed and power early, but after rocking his foe with a flurry of punches in the second, Soto closed the show in the third at UFC Fight Night “MacDonald vs. Thompson.”

The two exchanged blows early but once Soto had Beal off his feet, he eventually seized his back and sunk in a textbook rear-naked choke, forcing the tap. The official time of the submission came at 3:39 of the frame.
