UK and International Fighters are “Fearless”

Introduction

LONDON — Cage Rage 19, also known as "Fearless," represents yet another step forward for the upwardly mobile British promotion.

It is difficult to convey to an international audience quite how fast this show — and hence MMA in the UK — is growing. After a stint in seedy clubs across London, the 7th to 16th installments of Cage Rage were held at the relatively modest but prestigious venue of Wembley Conference Centre, which has a capacity of around 2,500. Cage Rage 17 and 18 were held moved to the capacious Wembley Arena (13,000 capacity), with both shows selling out. This latest offering is now set to open at Earl's Court, a 19,000 capacity arena prestigious enough to have been graced by such legendary musical acts as Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones and Queen.

The card has something of an international flavor, perhaps representing the British promotion's desire to establish itself as a globally recognizable brand. Matches see British fighters taking on opponents from the U.S., Japan, France and Brazil, including UFC and PRIDE veterans.
