Jon Jones’ sparkling resume got a little bit shinier on Saturday night.
Taking a page from his opponent’s playbook, the light heavyweight king embraced the grind down the stretch to capture a unanimous decision triumph over Daniel Cormier in the UFC 182 headliner at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

.875: Percentage of Shawn Jordan’s eight career Octagon appearances (five wins, two losses) that have ended via knockout or technical knockout. “The Savage” knocked out Jared Cannonier 2:57 into the opening frame at UFC 182. The only UFC bout of Jordan’s career to go the distance came at UFC 149, a three-round defeat at the hands of Cheick Kongo.
152: Significant strikes landed by Evan Dunham in his unanimous decision triumph over Rodrigo Damm, the fourth-highest total by a lightweight in UFC competition. Dunham becomes the first UFC lightweight to have more than 100 significant strikes twice. He landed 160 significant strikes in a loss to TJ Grant at UFC 152.
57: Significant strikes by which Marion Reneau outlanded Alexis Dufresne en route to a lopsided unanimous verdict. Reneau piled up a 30-to-10 edge in round one and a 33-to-6 advantage in round three and received a total of four 10-8 rounds from the evening’s cageside judges.
