Following the recent announcement that Ultimate Fighting Championship has partnered with Reebok to make the athletic apparel company its exclusive outfitter, Reebok has signed UFC champions Ronda Rousey and Jon Jones to help spearhead the development process for its new line of products.
In a press release on Tuesday, details were laid out for what Rousey and Jones will contribute to the process. The two champions will help to develop and launch the UFC apparel to be worn by its fighters, as well as creating a new collection of footwear and apparel for those who wish to work out via combat sports to stay in shape.

Earlier this month, it was announced that, through the new six-year deal, an apparel line will be created that includes “Fight Week” gear as well as a “Fight Night kit.” The “Outfitting Policy” will officially be implemented on July 6, 2015, to align with International Fight Week. At that point, athletes under promotional employ will not be allowed to wear other sponsor logos at official UFC events.
Jones and Rousey join Anthony Pettis and Johny Hendricks on the current stable of Reebok’s roster of UFC athletes. It is worth noting that prior to his involvement in a brawl with Daniel Cormier at a press conference in Las Vegas, “Bones” had maintained a sponsorship deal with Nike since 2012.
