Jon Jones earned a base salary of $500,000 for his unanimous decision victory in the main event of UFC 182.
The UFC light heavyweight champion’s purse did not include a win bonus, which means Jones would have earned $500,000 regardless of the outcome of his title bout with Daniel Cormier, who took home $90,000 in defeat. The pair went head-to-head Saturday at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and the payroll numbers were disclosed by the Nevada Athletic Commission on Monday.

commissions do not include any performance-based or discretionary
bonuses that may be awarded to a fighter by the promotion.
Additionally, the reported figures do not reflect any deductions
made by the commission for taxes, insurance, etc., and do not
