3rd time in 10 years having staph and the earliest I've caught it. 3 surgeries and almost 2 weeks later I'm glad to finally be home! pic.twitter.com/wW7fTKFeti

“Going home today! 10 days in the hospital, 3 (2.5 ish) surgeries, but the infection is gone and I’m feeling better,” Krause wrote on Instagram. “Will be on crutches and will still have a PICC line for a couple weeks but all is improving!”
Krause last appeared at UFC Fight Night 83 on Feb. 21, 2016, when he took a unanimous decision triumph over Shane Campbell. The 30-year-old Missouri native owns a 4-3 mark in the Las Vegas-based promotion that also includes victories over Daron Cruickshank, Jamie Varner and Sam Stout. Krause is 23-7 over the course of a pro career that began in 2007.
