UFC GYM TO CELEBRATE 100th OPENING WITH NEW LOCATION IN HAWAII

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Oahu, HI – UFC GYM®, known for its TRAIN
DIFFERENT® approach that combines the world of mixed martial arts
(MMA) and fitness, will celebrate the opening of its newest gym in
Waikele, HI on Saturday, Feb. 8th. UFC GYM BJ Penn is a partnership
with former two-division champion and Season 19 coach of The
Ultimate Fighter®, BJ Penn. In addition to being the 100th UFC GYM
to open, the new site is the second BJ Penn signature gym in the
fighter’s home state of HI, joining the first location in Oahu.
UFC GYM B.J. Penn will open for workouts with a New Member Day full of activities for members and the entire community. The 24-hour, full-service gym is located in the Waikele Center at 94-875 Lumiana Street, Suite 15. New Member Day festivities will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will include private tours, live demonstrations, one-on-one training assessments, special retail bargains, food, music and exclusive membership and personal training discounts all day long.
“I’m proud that the opening of my second gym marks this milestone
in UFC GYMs growth,” said BJ Penn, a native of Hilo. “I opened my
first gym in Oahu two years ago to share my workouts and lifestyle
with the community. The results and techniques have proven very

west side of the island to continue to impact the way people work
out and TRAIN DIFFERENT.”
The location in Waikele extends over 30,000 square feet and features a 30 foot Octagon™, Brazilian jiu-jitsu studio, bag room, top-of-the-line strength training and cardio machines, battling ropes, agility ladders and other functional training equipment for dynamic workouts. Members also have access to UFC GYM’s signature classes such as Daily Ultimate Training® (DUT®), UFC FIT™, TRX, BJJ, Boxing, Muay Thai, specialized youth fitness training and a team of elite personal trainers.
