Jeff Molina Aiming for Knockout, Performance of the Night Bonus at UFC Vegas 56
Jeff Molina is one of the hottest prospects in the Ultimate Fighting Championship 125-pound division. Molina (10-2, 2-0 UFC) caught fans’ curiosity after upending Qileng Aori in the Dana White’s Contender Series Season 4 graduate’s promotional debut at UFC 261, but it was his second-round finish against Daniel Lacerda that drew everyone’s attention on “El Jefe.” Now, the 24-year-old Glory MMA standout is called to repeat the performance as he will take on Zhalgas Zhumagulov at UFC Fight Night 207 on June 4. Molina showcases an impressive 80 percent finish rate and has rattled off nine consecutive victories. In the fighter’s opinion, his offensive arsenal is more than enough to overmatch his opponent’s experience and score a second-round knockout victory, hopefully pocketing Performance of the Night honors along the way.
