Joe Solecki Paid Homage to Late Ray Liotta by Rewatching ‘Goodfellas’ ahead of UFC Fight Night 207
Nothing pumps up Joe Solecki and his team better than watching some good gangster movies before a fight. Dana White’s Contender Series graduate Solecki (11-3, 3-1 UFC) will be pursuing his fourth victory under the Ultimate Fighting Championship banner when he locks horns with Alex da Silva Coelho at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 207, also known as “UFC Vegas 56.” Before his upcoming assignment, the Gym-O representative rewatched “Goodfellas” for the umpteenth time. Solecki felt it was the right thing to do in homage to iconic actor Ray Liotta, who recently passed away. According to the fighter, the 1990s film is a great story that has plenty of action and features many Italian characters, more than enough to get him psyched for an Octagon battle.
