Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire: How I’m Going to Hand Antonio McKee his First ‘L’

Following his impressive submission over Emmanuel Sanchez in Bellator MMA’s featherweight GP, double champ Patricio Freire talked with Sherdog’s Marcelo Alonso about his plans in the tournament final against the undefeated A.J. McKee, whom, in his opinion, would defeat Ultimate Fighting Championship 145-pound king Alexander Volkanovski.

“If I had to give him grades in the three most important aspects of MMA (striking, takedowns and ground game) I would give him 10 in everything, but there is another very important aspect of fighting which is patience, where he deserves a grade of 4 and only the experience of "fighting time" will help him to develop that, which will be a key factor for my win.”
