Bellator MMA has signed former Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight titleholder Quinton Jackson to a multi-year deal.
The agreement will also see “Rampage” join the TNA Wrestling roster, much like former Strikeforce champion and current Bellator light heavyweight Muhammed Lawal. Bellator and TNA jointly announced the signing on June 4, revealing that Spike TV will produce a special reality series about the fighter to preface his Bellator debut.

The hard-hitting light heavyweight would relinquish the belt in his next defense, however, as he lost a decision to Forrest Griffin at UFC 86. Though Jackson would proceed to win four of his next five bouts, he exited the UFC on the heels of three consecutive losses, most recently falling to Glover Teixeira four months ago at UFC on Fox 6.
