By The Numbers: Kiamrian Abbasov vs. Christian Lee
Having spent more than three years perched atop the One Championship welterweight division, Kiamrian Abbasov shows no signs of moving anytime soon.
“Brazen” will defend his 185-pound championship when he meets reigning lightweight titleholder Christian Lee in the ONE on Prime Video 4 headliner on Saturday at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Abbasov has won 15 of his past 17 bouts. He last appeared at ONE “Full Circle,” where he submitted to an arm-triangle choke from the unbeaten Reinier de Ridder in the second round of their Feb. 25 confrontation. Lee, meanwhile, has rattled off seven victories in eight outings and seeks to become a rare simultaneous two-division champion. He last fought on Aug. 26, when he cut down Rae Yoon Ok with a volley of knees and reclaimed the undisputed lightweight crown in the second round of their ONE 160 rematch.
