Bellator 78 Card Set with Good-Tsarev, Koreshkov-Zaromskis Welterweight Semis
Next Friday’s Bellator 78 bill is now official, with four fights slated for the MTV2-broadcast main card.
The Season 7 welterweight tournament semifinals top the four-fight main draw, as Lyman Good takes on Michail Tsarev and Andrey Koreshkov faces Marius Zaromskis. Bellator 78 takes place at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio, and will also see Season 6 featherweight tournament winner Daniel Straus square off with UFC veteran Alvin Robinson, who makes his Bellator debut after 13 months on the sideline. Rounding out the televised card is a middleweight confrontation between two-time tournament veteran Brian Rogers and Dominique Steele.
Six fights are currently slated for the preliminary draw, which streams live on Spike.com immediately prior to the MTV2 broadcast. Highlighting the undercard will be a women’s bout between 115-pound tournament champion Zoila Frausto Gurgel and Casey Noland.
Unbeaten competitors Trey Houston and Mikkel Parlo will also compete as part of the preliminary stream, taking on Billy Horne and Jared Combs, respectively. Additionally, Jake Nauracy meets Justin McNally, Rocky Edwards faces Rob Hanna and Jason Butcher toes the line opposite Shaun Asher.
