Cage Warriors Fighting Championship appears to be seriously cracking down on those that miss weight, handing down a 50% purse fine for one heavy competitor.
CW 156 is headlined by a fight between Darren Stewart and Matthew Bonner. Both middleweights successfully made weight for the main event. All other fighters on the nine-fight card hit their proper marks except for Marcondes Bastos, who came in at 146.5 pounds for his featherweight fight against Milad Ahady. The fight will continue, although Bastos was fined half of his purse.
