Jim Miller, Charles Oliveira Set for Rematch at UFC on Fox 31 in Milwaukee

Jim Miller will face Charles Oliveira in a rematch of a bout that occurred eight years ago at UFC on Fox 31.

Promotion officials announced the pairing on Wednesday. UFC on Fox 31 takes place at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Dec. 15 and is headlined by lightweight clash pitting Al Iaquinta against Kevin Lee. The main card airs on the Fox Network following prelims on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Miller defeated Oliveira via first-round submission in their initial meeting at UFC 124 on Dec. 11, 2010. The New Jersey native has a promotion-record 30 Octagon appearances to his credit. Miller recently halted a four-bout skid by tapping out Alex White in the opening stanza at UFC 228.

Oliveira, meanwhile, surpassed Royce Gracie for most submission finishes in promotion history by tapping Christos Giagos via rear-naked choke at UFC Fight Night 137. “Do Bronx” has been victorious in three of his last four UFC outings.
