After losing the title to Glover Teixeira last year, Blachowicz (29-9) will now have a chance to regain the belt he once held. The Polish fighter is coming off a win over Aleksandar Rakic, who injured his knee in the third round of their bout. Meanwhile, Ankalaev (17-1) is on an impressive nine-fight win streak inside the Octagon after dropping his debut against Paul Craig due to a last-second triangle choke. Blachowicz officially weighed 204.5 pounds, while the Russian championship hopeful came in at 205 pounds on the dot.
The UFC 282 main card will air live on ESPN+ pay-per-view on Saturday at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Prelims begin at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass before switching to ESPN+ and ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
