UFC Fight Night Albuquerque drew an average of 1.217 million viewers to Fox Sports 1 this past Saturday night, making it the third most-watched Fight Night card since the promotion began airing events on the network last August.
Ratings were confirmed by Fox Sports’ Carleton Curtis via Twitter as well as tvbythenumbers.com. UFC Fight Night "Henderson vs. Khabilov took place at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, N.M., and saw Benson Henderson submit Rustam Khabilov in the fourth round of the evening’s lightweight headliner.
The only Fight Night cards to do better on FS1 were UFC Fight Night “Shogun vs. Sonnen” (1.78 million viewers) in August and UFC Fight Night “Machida vs. Mousasi” (1.4 million) in February.
In addition, the UFC Fight Night prelims averaged 812,000 viewers, the second-best figure for a preliminary draw on Fox Sports 1. That portion of the card was highlighted by flyweight prospect Sergio Pettis’ three-round triumph over Yaotzin Meza.
