Marc Diakiese (c) Vs. Kane Mousah (Lonsdale Lightweight Title Bout)
Lonsdale Champion Marc Diakiese (8-0) recently re-signed a brand new multi-fight deal with the promotion and finally gets to take on the man who has been calling him out for over a year. The ASW stand out blitzed his first challenger for his Lonsdale title in just 24 seconds at BAMMA 22 in Ireland. Rick Selvarajah was left out cold on the canvas as Diakiese landed a devastating combination for the KO, which garnered him over 100,000 views on social media and the runner up spot for KO of the year. The champion is planning big things in 2016, but has stated he will happily take another fighters '0’ first on the road to the BAMMA title.
Kane Mousah (7-0) made his debut at BAMMA 22 after an injury put him out of BAMMA 17 and prevented this matchup from happening earlier. Mousah defeated 'Magic' Myles Price in a closely contested war, and now gets his wish to face the man he has made his number one target, be it on social media or at BAMMA events. This will be the stiffest test of Mousah's ability in his 7 year career so far, and one that he has total belief that he will overcome. Time will tell come 15th May at the Barclaycard Arena, as these hugely talented Lightweights collide in the battle the British public have been been so desperately waiting for.
Colin Fletcher Vs. Walter Gahadza (Welterweight Bout)
Now in the Welterweight Division, Colin Fletcher (12-5) is back and ready to step it up a gear as he takes on Walter Gahadza. The Unity Gym fighter out of Sunderland recently scored a win against Vincent del Guerra with one of his signature chokes, and is newly invigorated and ready for a big 2016.
Walter Gahadza returns to BAMMA after a long injury layoff that halted his BAMMA debut back at BAMMA 17 against Mikael LeBout. After taking time out to get surgery on his injuries, Walter is finally ready to make his BAMMA debut.
Gahadza brings with him a flawless 14-0 Professional record and is considered one of the UK's top ranked fighters and a potential future superstar of the sport. Described by MMA icon Paul 'Semtex' Daley as 'the future of the Welterweight division', Gahadza brings a stunning array of weaponry to the BAMMA arena. Versatile and explosive, Gahadza has an almost identical number of wins by submission as by KO.
