today that Holly Holm
will be the next challenger to fight Ronda
Rousey for the UFC bantamweight title, Holm gave AXS TV’s
INSIDE MMA an exclusive statement reacting to the news before
jumping on a flight tonight:
Said Holm:
“I’m so excited about the announcement today. It was definitely
unexpected. I was supposed to fight Sarah
Kaufman… which is my friend and teammate, so this is definitely
a turn of events. It’s something totally new and I just want to
make the most of it. I’m so excited and I love when a challenge is
thrown at me… I really wanna jump in. It just makes it exciting. I
feel like I’m feeling life and I’m just so happy.”
