presents “GRIND” at The Sheraton Uptown in Albuquerque, New Mexico
on Saturday, August 15, 2015, for an exciting evening of MMA
fights.
The main event in the 170 lb. Division will feature Anthony Rozema from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, (Judgment MMA) against Andrew Lipp from Denver, Colorado (Team Wildman). Both fighters are making their professional debut. Rozema was undefeated as an amateur with 3 of his last 4 fights ending in 1st round stoppages. Lipp was (6-7) as an amateur and is an excellent striker.
In the co-main event, local Oliver
Parker (FIT NHB) will battle Derek Perez
from Belen, New Mexico (Perez Fighting Systems). Parker is making
his debut under the FIT NHB banner after a convincing win over
veteran Texas fighter Oscar De
La Parra in his last outing. Perez is coming of off a first
round submission victory in his last outing.
Other featured bouts include:
Nicco Montano who is undefeated (5-0) with all first round finishes.
Conquest MMA standout Elias Proce (5-1) looks to rebound from his first loss after 5 consecutive wins.
Judgment MMA's Carlo Rodriguez, who is also undefeated.
