Mario Bautista Expects a Veteran Performance from Brian Kelleher at UFC on ESPN 38
Mario Bautista isn’t a man who underestimates his opponents. Bautista (9-2, 3-2 UFC) takes on the veteran Brian Kelleher at the upcoming UFC on ESPN 38, and expects his opponent to put his experience to work in their fight. Bautista is coming off a dominant performance against Jay Perrin at UFC Fight Night 201 in February, taking a unanimous decision victory with 30-27, 30-27 and 30-26 nods from the judges. The MMA Lab representative explained to Sherdog that he had to stay put for a few months after catching COVID-19, which impacted his training schedule. Now recovered, Bautista is ready for a war that he hopes will be rewarded with “Fight of the Night” honors on Saturday.
