By The Numbers: Aung La N Sang vs. Fan Rong
One Championship matchmakers had high-octane offense in mind when they matched former two-division titleholder Aung La N Sang with Fan Rong in a featured ONE on Prime Video 10 attraction this Friday at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. Neither middleweight figures to give much ground.
Sang steps into the cage on the heels of back-to-back victories. The Kill Cliff Fight Club rep last competed at ONE on Prime Video 6, where he put away Gilberto Galvao with punches in the first round of their Jan. 13 encounter. Rong, meanwhile, finds himself on the rebound after tapping to a third-round guillotine choke from Vitaly Bigdash at ONE “Winter Warriors 2” in December 2021. He had won 19 of his previous 20 bouts.
