By The Numbers: Jim Miller vs. Alexander Hernandez
Jim Miller makes history every time he sets foot inside the Octagon.
Already the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s all-time leader in appearances (40) and victories (24), Miller will toe the line against Alexander Hernandez in a three-round UFC Fight Night 219 lightweight showcase on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The longtime Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt enters his latest assignment with the wind of a three-fight winning streak in his sails. Miller last competed at UFC 276, where he disposed of Donald Cerrone with a guillotine choke in the second round of their July 2 confrontation. Hernandez, meanwhile, finds himself reeling after back-to-back losses. The Factory X rep last appeared on Dec. 10, when he succumbed to knees and punches from Billy Quarantillo in the second round of their UFC 282 pairing.
