on Nov. 8, 2009 and needed just three minutes to win. The G1: Open

3: Fights in just a little over a month. Exactly a week after that fight, he traded fists with Willington Morgenstern and then with Christian Tide Squeti on Dec. 13, 2009.
7: Straight victories to start his professional career. He followed up his impressive debut with six more wins, finishing all but one of his opponents.
27: Seconds was his fastest finish to date. It happened in the semifinal round of the Smash Fight welterweight tournament in Curitiba, Brazil. "Capoeira" knocked out Gilmar Dutra Lima with one punch to advance to the finals where he stopped Ricardo Silva and win the tournament.
3: Of his five losses came by decision. Only Viscardi Andrade and Guilherme Vasconcelos were able to finish him, both via rear-naked choke.
1: Round was all he needed to knock out Itamar Rosa and take the Jungle Fight welterweight title. After a series of unanswered strikes, the fight was stopped at 1:59. Dos Santos successfully defended the title against Eduardo Ramon by rear-naked choke. It was his last fight for the promotion as he signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship soon after.
4: Years as a UFC fighter. He debuted against Nicolas Dalby at UFC Fight Night 67 on May 30, 2015. After three rounds of back-and-forth battle, the bout was awarded to Dalby via split decision. In that fight, dos Santos was able to outstrike his opponent, but was taken down six times.
9: First-round finishes. Dos Santos goes for the finish when he smells blood. His early victims include Jandozo, Morgenstern, Misael Chamorro, Jackson Pontes, Lima, Ricardo Silva, Josenildo Ramalho, Rosa and Sean Strickland.
16: Stoppages on his resume, 14 of which are by KO or TKO and two are by submission. Inside the UFC, he finished Strickland and Luigi Vendramini by knockout.
3: Fight of the Night bonuses pursed, which shows dos Santos is one most exciting prospects at welterweight today. He received the post-fight recognitions for his thrilling scuffles with Omari Akhmedov, Lyman Good and Max Griffin.
