The Walkmen: All UFC 273 Walkout Tracks
The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday returned to Jacksonville, Florida, for UFC 273. The 12-bout pay-per-view card featured two title tilts and plenty of excitement on the undercard.
With 12 scraps (24 fighters) there was a lot of musical flavor in the arena as each fighter made a personal audio backdrop to accompany them to the Octagon. The selections, as usual, ranged from classic rock to hip hop and seemingly everything in between.
Standout tracks were abundant, as even the headliners brought their A-games. Alexander Volkanovski entered to the classic “Down Under” from Men at Work, a worldwide megahit and one of the greatest songs of the 1980s. Not to be outdone, his challenger, Chan Sung Jung, utilized “Zombie” by The Cranberries. The song is an Irish treasure that focuses on the violence of The Troubles, which left more than 3,500 dead.
