“I personally think Bellator is one of the leading organizations there is today; it’s a great honor to fight for them once again,” Godbeer stated. “Last time I fought off of the back of an 18-month layoff due to a big injury and feel I wasn’t myself, so I’m glad to get another chance to show them the real me.”
Mulheron last competed in November, when he stopped Tomasz Czerwinski in the first to capture the Made 4 the Cage heavyweight title.
“I don't really go into fights with a game plan,” said Mulheron. “I go in with an open mind. I think every fighter needs to be able to adapt in fights but everyone who watches me knows I come to fight and this fight will be no different.”
Bellator 158 takes place on July 16 at the O2 Arena and is headlined by the rematch between Kimbo Slice and James Thompson. Also on the bill is the grudge match between bitter rival Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley as well as a light heavyweight skirmish between Linton Vassell and Francis Carmont. Knockout artist Michael “Venom” Page will take on Fernando Gonzalez as well.
