Walus injured, Thompson’s bout cancelled

(PRESS RELEASE) -- We are extremely sorry to inform that one of the
KSW 24 bouts, a showdown between Kamil Walus
and Oli
Thompson had to be cancelled. The Pole torn his bicep this week
and is unable to compete at upcoming show.
- I can only apologize for the situation. I was really looking forward to this bout and wanted to test myself against Oli. I have a torn muscle and tendon of my right bicep and I’m not able to fight with such an injury – Waluś told us.
KSW Federation would like to announce that once the Pole is one hundred percent healthy, the fight will be rescheduled for one of the future shows.
- We talked to Piotr Jeleniewski, who manages Waluś and he assured us that he will hand us all the medical documentation as well as video statement from the fighter as soon as possible – KSW Federation owners said.
